Nicki Minaj ‘In Talks’ To Co-Headline Britney Spears Tour

Rapper Nicki Minaj has confirmed she is in negotiations to replace Enrique Iglesias and join Britney Spears on her summer tour. The pop superstar is on the hunt for another big name to share the bill when she hits the road in June after Iglesias pulled out of a co-headlining U.S. trek last week. Spears has already publicly appealed to have Usher perform onstage with her, while she has also voiced her admiration for Minaj. The hip-hop star admits she would jump at the opportunity to travel with Spears and she is doing everything she can to make it happen.
Johnny Knoxville Stabbed In Bar Fight

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville was once stabbed in a bar fight – but insisted on having one more drink for the road before heading to the hospital. The Dukes of Hazzard actor was at a bachelor party with pals when three thugs attacked him following a slanging match outside. Knoxville did his best to defend himself but realized after his assailants fled that he was bleeding.
He recalls, “We’d been fighting a couple of minutes and my hand was slashed and my back was slashed… I had to go upstairs and get my friends out of the bar; we had another drink and they drove me to the hospital. “The hospital was, like, a half a mile away but they made a succession of wrong right turns and it took me an hour and a half to get there.”
Happy 36th Birthday, Fergie!

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie celebrated her 36th birthday at The Bank at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Friday night. The singer arrived looking fabulous in a pink Herve Leger bandage dress with fringe running down the sides and turquoise open-toe heels. Fergie’s husband, Transformers star Josh Duhamel, didn’t make the party, but she had plenty of friends with her to celebrate. Fergie’s currently getting ready to hit the road again with the BEPs – on June 22 they’ll head overseas to kick off their international tour.
This week, the band showed their support for victims of the Japan earthquake & tsunami that happened on March 11 by lending their song “One Tribe,” off their album “The E.N.D.,” to a new album on iTunes. Friday the band posted a message on their Twitter page that read, “Support Japan! We have donated our song “One Tribe” to Songs for Japan.
The collection of 38 songs sells for $9.99 and also features Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, U2, Shakira, Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Sting and many more (we’ve got the full list here). All proceeds from the album will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help in their continuing efforts to help get their nation back in order.The Peas also filmed their latest video, for the single “Just Can’t Get Enough,” in Tokyo and dedicated it to the people of Japan.
Carey Mulligan Dating Mumford & Sons Singer

British actress Carey Mulligan is dating folk rocker Marcus Mumford, according to a British report. The actress split from her Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Shia LaBeouf last year and was subsequently spotted out with actor/model Eddie Redmayne in January. But Mulligan has since moved on from the Brit and is now being romanced by the Mumford & Sons frontman, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday. The new couple has reportedly been spending time holed up in Mumford’s west London home after meeting at a gig in Nashville, Tennessee last month.
A source tells the publication, “Marcus invited Carey to watch him play a secret show in the basement of his friend Mike Harris’ home in Nashville. She sat in the front row and while he was singing, Marcus looked down at Carey and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry. Afterwards they went to the City House restaurant and dined with friends but they sat together and acted like a couple.” And the romance is going so well, Mumford has allegedly invited the young star to join him on the road when his band tours the U.S. in April.
The insider adds, “Carey’s hoping they can spend more time together when Marcus flies back to America next month for a major tour with his band. He’s hired a vintage train instead of a tour bus and has asked Carey to join him for the trip. It’s early days but they seem to enjoy each other’s company.”
Art Garfunkel Confident Voice Will Be Back For 2011 Concert Dates

Art Garfunkel has given Simon & Garfunkel fans something to cheer about – he predicts he’ll be well enough to hit the road again with Paul Simon at the end of the year.
The legendary duo was forced to scrap dates on their 2010 Old Friends tour of North America when Bright Eyes singer Garfunkel was diagnosed with vocal cord paresis.
He has been rehabbing his voice ever since and now admits he’s beginning to get his tone back. Of his return to the stage, Garfunkel tells Billboard.com, “Late 2011, I feel in my bones, in my cells, that that’s the scenario.
“At the rate the voice is coming back, I should be in pretty good shape by, as the corporations say, the fourth quarter of 2011.
“I’m being challenged by the Lord to have patience, real patience. It’s coming along slowly, painfully, excruciatingly slow. I try and stay off the subject and not bemoan anything. But I’m never going to give up on my crusade to return to the stage… I swear to you we’ll do those dates (we cancelled).”
Meanwhile, the singer is using the hiatus to write a memoir.
He adds, “I’ve been cooking along… being poignant, getting the reader to feel touched, like, ‘This guy’s got something to say’.”
