Daniel Radcliffe Reacts To Tony Awards Snub: ‘I’m OK, Really!’

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was shocked by critics’ reaction to his Tony Awards snub, insisting people acted like he should be in mourning. Theater buffs expected the young Brit to land a Best Actor nomination for his acclaimed performance in the play “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” – but he was left out when they were announced last week.
Radcliffe doesn’t harbor any hard feelings, insisting he’s flattered to even be considered as a viable candidate among this year’s nominees – even if some fans and critics believe he should feel sore and bitter. He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, “The thing that shocked me was everybody else’s reaction… and how they started treating me – because it was like I lost a relative. In my opinion, it was sweet, but over the top. People would ask me, ‘Are you OK?’
“I think I speak for 99 per cent of actors when I say that the reason we do this job… while it’s lovely to get recognized by your peers, it’s not the reason why we do it. The people that do this job for awards and recognition are kind of worshipping at the wrong altar, and I’m not really quite sure if I want to know those people.”

The two later went to Bardot Nightclub. The couple has been together for a few months. Earlier this week Adam attended Lady Gaga’s birthday concert in LA. Doesn’t the couple look really happy?
Dad Says Lindsay Lohan Won’t Really Drop Her Last Name

Lindsay Lohan’s father has voiced his shock at hearing his famous daughter is considering changing her last name and he’s accused his ex-wife of fabricating the story.
The star’s mother Dina Lohan recently suggested the actress is planning an image overhaul by dropping Lohan and simply being known as ‘Lindsay’.
Dina also reportedly told PopEater.com that she and her daughter Ali will also be be reverting to her maiden name of Sullivan.
The news has infuriated her ex-husband Michael Lohan, but he is convinced Lindsay has no intention of dropping her last name.
He tells the New York Daily News, “At the outset, it hurts to hear something like that, but at the end of the day, it’s never going to happen. It’s a real shame Dina would make up this kind of story…I’m proud of the Lohan name. It’s a name of integrity.”
