Lindsay Lohan’s Ankle Monitor Goes Off, Probation Officers Called To Her Home

Los Angeles probation officials were called to Lindsay Lohan‘s Venice home earlier this week when the actress’ electronic monitoring system alerted them to the fact she may have left the confines of the property. The Mean Girls star is currently serving a house arrest sentence after her conviction for shoplifting a necklace and she is not allowed to leave her home.
The authorities dropped by unannounced and found the actress watching TV and reading scripts. It is unclear why the ankle device went off, according to the Los Angeles Times. Steve Honig, a spokesman for the actress, says, “They (officials) came as part of standard procedure to make sure the monitoring equipment was working properly.”
The actress was sentenced to serve 120 days behind bars last month, but jail overcrowding issues and the fact she is a non-violent convict prompted officials to allow her to serve a reduced sentence at home.
Lindsay Lohan Wins Restraining Order Against Man She Exposed As Stalker

Lindsay Lohan has obtained a restraining order against the man she dubbed a stalker when she exposed him online. The actress posted a surveillance video grab of the man she claims has been threatening to kill her on her website earlier this week.
Lohan, who is facing a summer jail stint, admitted she’s “scared” in a tweet to fans, which linked them to the photo of a bearded man online, now identified as David Cocordan. The Mean Girls star wrote, “This is the freemason stalker that has been threatening to kill me – while he is TRESPASSING! im actually scared now. “The blood in the ‘cults’ book was too much – all my fans, my supporters, please stand by me.”
A temporary restraining order was issued against Cocordan on Thursday. According to her declaration, obtained by TMZ.com, the star claims Cocordan has come to her home at least three times in the last four weeks and followed her to public appearances. He has also sent her more than a hundred text messages as well as phone calls, according to Lohan.
One recent text message, which read, “F**king n sucking wit u kkk i need it more thn (sic)”, really upset the actress. In her declaration, she states, “I am afraid that this text message shows that Mr. Cocordan intends to sexually assault me.” Cocordan has been told to stay away from Lohan and stop trying to communicate with her.

Lindsay Lohan dressed up as a vampire in a series of portraits by celebrity artist Tyler Shields. Shields had a gallery opening in Los Angeles over the weekend. In the photos, Lohan has bright red lips and wears fangs. She also poses alongside “Vampire Diaries” star Michael Trevino.
Lohan attended the gallery opening with her younger sister, Ali, arriving at 10 p.m. and purportedly spending the majority of time in a staff changing room away from the crowd and installations.
Paris Hilton Apologizes To Lindsay Lohan For Joke About Stealing Jewelry

Paris Hilton has publicly apologized to her former pal Lindsay Lohan after poking fun at the actress’ latest legal woes on her new reality TV show. Lohan stands accused of stealing a necklace from a California jewelry store back in January. She has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor, but was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service last month after a judge ruled her arrest on the charge broke the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI case.
The Mean Girls star’s troubles became a talking point this week when a clip from Hilton’s new program, The World According to Paris, hit the internet. In the footage, Hilton is heard making a joke about Lohan’s problems as she visits a homeless shelter and hands over a pair of earrings to one woman, who mistakes her for the troubled star.
The woman tells Hilton, “I’m going to give them to my sister as soon as I get back to Oklahoma and I’m going to tell them that Lindsay (gave them to me)… I thought you were supposed to be in rehab?” Realizing the identity mix-up, Hilton responded, “I’m not Lindsay!” before joking about Lohan and adding in a voiceover: “If I were Lindsay, I’d be stealing the earrings, not giving them away.”
But now the hotel heiress has seen the error of her ways and apologized for the comments, telling TMZ.com, “I apologize to Lindsay for the comment that I made. I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary… I am reaching out to Lindsay so I can tell her myself.”
Lindsay Lohan Joining Scientology?

It appears Lindsay Lohan may be turning to Scientology to deal with her alcohol and drug problems. John Travolta has apparently taken the young star under his wing, after convincing the producers of Gotti: Three Generations to cast her. Watch “Lindsay Lohan finds Scientology?”
An insider told the National Enquirer, “Even though producers were hesitant to hire Lindsay because of her troubled past. Travolta assured them he’d take her under his wing.
“He feels confident he’ll be able to keep her on the straight and narrow … now and forever.” Lindsay will start taking induction courses, says the source. “John introduced Lindsay to one of the church’s top counselors and – even though she’s been cast in a new role and won’t play the star’s daughter in the flick – she’s assured him she’ll still attend the series of induction classes that will make her a Scientologist.”
