Bobby Brown Says His Daughter ‘Doesn’t Do Drugs’

Singer Bobby Brown has slammed suggestions his teenage daughter is struggling with substance abuse issues, insisting the 18 year old “doesn’t do” drugs.
Bobbi Kristina, whose mother is Whitney Houston, found herself at the center of a drug scandal last week when the National Enquirer obtained damning shots of a youngster alleged to be the teenager apparently taking cocaine at two different parties.
Kristina has since taken to her Twitter.com page to slam the reports, blaming an ex-boyfriend for setting her up to make it look as though she’s indulging in drugs.
She wrote, “A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like… But it’s really not what it looks like. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.”
Houston and Brown have both battled substance abuse in the past and the magazine suggested Kristina had picked up the troubled stars’ bad habits too.
However, now Brown has spoken out about the scandal to defend his daughter, insisting he’s convinced she wouldn’t partake in drugs. Brushing off the speculation, he tells ABC News, “I don’t know anything about that… I don’t know anything. My daughter doesn’t do that.”

Charlie Sheen’s show, Two and a Half Men, halted production after he blasted creator Chuck Lorre Thursday but the actor is still enjoying his time in the Bahamas – and says “defeat is not an option.”
As he’s relaxing, Sheen said he’s contemplating his next project. “It’s called life and fatherhood and fun. I get to step back into the light,” he said Friday on the radio show Loose Cannons.
His interview was characteristically frank and lively, as well as rambling and slightly unintelligible at times.
Vacationing with “the most amazing women a guy could ever hope to find and to bond with,” Sheen said, “We’re having a ball and everybody’s mad because I’m having too much fun again – clean.”
Lest anyone question his sobriety, he told the hosts, including his friend Pat O’Brien, that he’s “100 percent” sober.
“If you want to meet me for one of my workouts at 5 a.m., you’re going to find out that smoking cocaine just does not fit in with that snapshot,” he said. “There’s no time for that right now. If you can find a drug that’s gonna get me higher than I am – I hate to say, on life – just living in the moment, finally enjoying this life, then present that drug. I don’t think it exists. I really don’t.”
As for the ongoing dispute with his professional life, Sheen called the Men set “toxic” and once again slammed Lorre. “I watch him wailing on people that have been loyal to him for two decades,” Sheen said. “He gets in the men’s group on Friday and talks about surrender and acceptance is the key. Really Chuck? Accept these keys. I won’t go further with that thought.”
To the show’s crew whose job security is in question, Sheen said, “Be patient, get focused, we are at war … defeat is not an option.”
Paris Banned From Vegas Clubs

Thanks to Operation: Fuck You, Lindsay, Paris Hilton has been officially banned from the Wynn and Encore resorts in Vegas and also managed to get her boyfriend Cy Waits blacklisted from working with Steve Wynn again in the process. People reports:
The ban comes after several Las Vegas insiders claimed that the heiress might be blackballed from nightclubs. After the car in which she was riding was stopped, Hilton, 29, was taken inside the Wynn, where it was allegedly discovered that she had cocaine in her purse.
Coinciding with the ban, Wynn Las Vegas also announced in a vague statement that Hilton’s boyfriend, nightclub executive Cy Waits, has been “separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests.” No further comment or details was provided.

Paris Charged with Felony Cocaine Possession

Over the weekend, Paris Hilton was charged with felony cocaine possession. She denied the drugs found in the purse she was carrying were hers… but let’s be honest here: we’re not stupid, Paris. She now faces up to four years in prison if convicted on the drug charge.
The police said they found 0.8 grams (.03 ounces) of cocaine, wrappers typically used to roll marijuana cigarettes, asthma medication and 1,300 dollars in cash.
While in a police holding room, she took lip balm from her purse.
“As she began to open it, I saw a small bundle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy begin to fall from the purse and into my hand,” Lieutenant Dennis Flynn of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department wrote in the report.
Asked whose cocaine was in the purse, Hilton told Flynn she “had not seen it” and thought it was chewing-gum, according to the report.
Hilton also told police she had borrowed the purse and that the cosmetics did not belong to her, though the asthma medication, cash, credit cards and Zig-Zag wrappers were hers.
Her lawyer, David Chesnoff, encouraged people “not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law,” according to a statement released to US media.
